Welcome to the website for Diamond T and other old trucks in South Africa. This site will also include photo's of old cars in South Africa..... Eventually !!! I live approx 100km (60 Miles) East of Cape Town South Africa.
My love for Diamond T trucks started in 2002 when I came across one in a yard full of old scrap cars and a few other trucks. I saw the Model 404 and fell in love and decided - I gotta have that !!! That was it and I am hooked. Since acquiring my model 404 I have bought a further 3 Diamond T trucks : 1942 Model 614, 1949 model 306 and a later 40's model 614.
There is not a big following for trucks in South Africa. Hopefully this site will help to get some form of following started. The official Diamond T website can be found at www.diamondtclassics.com where there are many photo's of Diamond T trucks !!!
